This award winning scheme for Swiss Re at its landmark 30, St.Mary Axe location - affectionately known as 'the Gherkin' - uses interesting plant material such as Euphorbia tirucallii, Sparmania africana, Tettrastigma, Beauccarnea and Monstera, contained in strikingly unusual stainless steel planting 'enclosures'. The extremely shallow dishes are surrounded by a unique railing providing an illusion of beautifully proportioned planting.
