Occasionally it is necessary for us to treat one of the minor pests or diseases that plants are susceptible to in the office environment.
These may include Peat Flies - (Sciarid insect) tiny little black flies that live in the surface layer of soil or mulch and which can fly in front of computer screens.

Although totally harmless, they are annoying. We try to reduce any outbreak by treating all containers prepared at our nursery before they are delivered to site. If there is a breakout, they can easily be dealt with by the use of an organic insecticide.
