"Indoor Garden Design recently celebrated its 30th anniversary with a rather splendid party at 30 St Mary Axe, aka the Gherkin of course.
The company was set up in 1975 with one person, a moped and two watering cans. Today with 45 staff, 22 vans and 120 watering cans, the company is widely recognised as one of the largest, leading independent landscaping companies in the UK specialising in interior planting.
Exterior commissions are an increasing element of the company’s portfolio with contracts ranging in size and scope from contemporary courtyards to large stylish roof gardens and classical grounds maintenance.
Ed Wolf, Director of Indoor Garden Design, commented: ‘The next party to which you are all welcome will be, again, at the Gherkin in 2035 when Indoor Garden Design will be 60 years old and the founder Ed Wolf, 100!’ And how many watering cans will you have by then Ed?"
